VIP
VIP Overview
How the VIP progression model works across Atlas Labs and what each level unlocks in Ledger and the wider platform.
VIP Overview
VIP is the progression model that runs across every Atlas Labs product, not just Ledger. Reaching a level once unlocks the same tier on every other product the moment you sign in — there's no separate VIP track per app, and there's no purchase required at any level. Progression is earned through engagement: completing a few onboarding milestones gets you to VIP 1, importing your first batch of transactions gets you to VIP 2, and so on.
The system is deliberately additive. VIP 0 is the default everyone starts at and works for anyone who just wants to evaluate the product; the higher levels unlock more advanced features and gated documentation as they go. Nothing breaks at VIP 0 — there's no asterisk on the basic experience.
Levels#
The four levels that exist today are described below. Levels 3 and beyond are reserved for cross-product milestones that will come into focus once more Atlas Labs products are live.
Level | Name | How to reach |
|---|---|---|
0 | Standard | Default for all new users |
1 | VIP | Complete all FTUE achievements |
2 | VIP 2 | Import your first transaction batch |
3+ | Reserved | Future cross-product milestones |
What each level unlocks#
The unlocks below describe the current state of Ledger and the documentation platform. Other Atlas Labs products will read from the same VIP level on launch and add their own tier-specific perks at that time.
Ledger#
VIP 1 — Advanced features, full portfolio analytics
VIP 2 — Transaction imports from all supported exchanges, higher daily limits
Docs (this platform)#
VIP 1 — Access to VIP-gated documentation sections
VIP 2+ — Reserved for future advanced content
Cross-product design#
The design choice that makes VIP feel coherent is that the level lives on your user account, not on any individual product. When new Atlas Labs products launch, your existing VIP level carries over and unlocks the appropriate tier on day one — you don't have to grind through onboarding again on every new product to get back to where you already were.
